Storing Breastmilk
- Sterilise bottle before each use and store in a dry covered container .Before expressing brestmilk ,make a note of the time and date on the bottle.This will help you to ensure you use older milk first.
- Place the bottle in the fride or deep -freeze. For best results,keep the bottle upright until the milk has frozen. Liquid expandwhen frozen-we recommend not filling more than 125 ml.
- Brestmilk can be kept in the fridge for up to 24 hours, in the ice compartment of the fridgr for up to 7 days and in deep freeze for up to 3 months.
